Justin's 28th Birthday Extravaganza!
Over the weekend we celebrated Justin's 28th birthday. This was his first birthday as a married man, so I was determined to make it extra special for him! (I have to make him think he's lucky to be married to me, at least. lol!) He does all kinds of sweet, selfless things for me throughout the year, I figured his birthday was the perfect day to try to show him how much he means to me! It all started with an invitation:
Party poppers! You put the invitation inside, send it out, and when everyone opens them, POP comes the invitation! I was inspired by a similar invitation I found of Pinterest and knew it would be the perfect party invites for Justin's birthday. They were a lot of fun to make and I loved the phone calls I got after our friends and family opened them. Thankfully, no one had to be hospitalized due to heart attacks or anything. haha!
We all met for dinner at Chipotle, (Justin's fave!) went go-karting, and then came back to our house to end the night with a dessert buffet and our very own Minute to Win It tournament. It was such a fun night full of all of Justin's favorite people! I didn't get as
many photos as I hoped to because I was rushing around baking all day with some dear friends, but here's a little look at what Justin's birthday looked like:

If you haven't heard of Minute to Win It, check out the website HERE. It's basically a game where all the players have to do a challenge with house hold items in under a minute. Some of the games are hilarious! You have to be willing to look a little silly if you want to play, and that's what makes it so much fun. Here are some photos of some of the games we played:
|Even Hudson joined in on one!|
This game made me laugh because every time I got ready to take a picture, Evyn was eating his game pieces. haha!
It was such a fun night with so many special people. Also, I feel like a trip to the dentist is required now after all those sweets! lol!
Thank you to all who came and helped celebrate Justin's birthday. You all mean the world to him! (and me!) Oh, and a HUGE thank you to the Himes gals for spending the day with me baking before the party. I couldn't have pulled it off without you!
One more picture from the night- Matt ended up being behind the camera for most of the evening and didn't get in most of the photos, but we did catch this cute moment between him and Hudson. Only a real friend puts up with our 55 pound lap dog. :) We love you, Matty! Thanks for the great photos!!!!
Now, who wants to help me clean up?!?
